Hellraiser was always a favorite horror film for me, specifically due to the fact that "Pinhead" wasn't just another mindless juggernaut like other horror icons. He was intelligent, eloquent and calculating.
This project was essentially my first 3D portrait that went beyond a sculpture study to the realm of possible animation.
Hand sculpted, including skin texture, with my own custom alphas in Blender3D
